Mount Koshiki

Mount Koshiki is a 1,015.5-metre peak on the Ōu Range straddling Murayama City and Higashine City in Yamagata Prefecture, prized for its well-shaped silhouette and selected for the Tōhoku Hyakumeizan and Yamagata 100 Meizan. From the Murayama side it is climbed by the Makuda, Shinzan, and Iwagami routes via the Haduki trailhead, and the Hachikasawa route ascends from the Higashine side near the mushroom park lodge.
