Mount Kiritō

霧訪山

A 1,305 m hill on the central watershed between Shiojiri City and Tatsuno Town in central Nagano Prefecture. The summit gives a 360-degree panorama spanning the Northern, Central and Southern Alps as well as Yatsugatake, Mount Ontake and Mount Myōkō, and the mountain is one of the headline peaks promoted by the Shiojiri Tourism Association. Three maintained trails climb from Shimo-Nishijō, Ono and the Central Watershed trailheads, and the mountain is celebrated for Pasque-flower and tamushiba blooms in late April and May.
