Mount Hakuto

白湯山

A nature trail leads from Akankohan Ski Area to an observation point east of the mountain, passing hot-spring streams, bubbling mud pools called bokke and spring to early-summer flowers. The viewpoint overlooks Lake Akan, Mount Oakan and Mount Meakan. The trail does not reach the wooded summit, which is mainly climbed while snow remains.
