Mount Daini-Mafuji (1,401 m) is the higher of the twin Mafuji summits in the Abe-oku backcountry of Shizuoka City, straddling the boundary between Hirano in Aoi Ward and Kawachi in Shimizu Ward. With its southern partner, Mount Daiichi-Mafuji (1,345 m), the pair is collectively called Mount Mafuji and is featured on Shizuoka City's Okushizuoka (Okushizu) hiking promotion. The summit commands wide views of Mount Fuji and Suruga Bay, and the peak appears in the 120 Weekend Climbs of the Tōkai Region.
