From the third trailhead at Hirano in Aoi Ward, Shizuoka, the loop climbs to Woidaira, passes Mafuji Shrine with its glimpses of Fuji through the trees, tops the First Mafuji peak (1,341 m), takes in the Second peak (1,401 m) and returns via Woidaira. Thirty-three Kannon statues line the way from the foot to the second peak, and the first peak looks out to Mount Fuji, Izu and, through the trees, the Southern Alps. There are roped rocks and a traverse of a rough rock ridge.
