This out-and-back follows the streamside trail from Okuyama Trailhead past Kinuito and Myogen waterfalls to Mount Shinoi's south summit. The 1,394-metre triangulation-point summit overlooks Mount Fuji, Suruga Bay and the Izu Peninsula, while old-growth beech woodland surrounds the upper mountain.
