Fushiogamidake is a 2,135 m peak on Mount Chokai’s outer crater rim in Yuza, Akumi District, Yamagata Prefecture. At the top of the steep Azamizaka slope on the Yunodai route, clear weather opens up sweeping views of Shinzan and Senjadani valley. Its name is traditionally said to mean prostrating in worship. It is a waypoint on the outer-rim circuit linking Monjudake, Gyojadake and Mount Shichiko, within Chokai Quasi-National Park.
