A prefectural shelter at about 3,067 m near the summit of Arakawa Nakadake in the Southern Alps, within Aoi Ward, Shizuoka. It is reached on the traverse from Sawarajima via Senmai Hut and Warusawa-dake, or by climbing the ridge from Arakawa Hut. This five-person hut is staffed in summer for bedded, room-only stays, while its first floor remains open for emergency use outside the staffed season.
