Unstaffed emergency shelter at the sixth station of Mt. Daisen's Natsuyama trail, about 1,350m, in Daisen-Oki National Park, Daisen, Saihaku District, Tottori Prefecture. It falls under Tottori Prefecture's Western Regional Office and was rebuilt under the National Parks Full Enjoyment Project (2016-2019), when a portable-toilet booth was added. The only trailside toilets on Mt. Daisen are at the Misen summit hut and the Motodani shelter, so this booth is for portable toilet kits only. Kits can be bought from a vending machine inside the booth (300 yen per set, 100-yen coins only) among other outlets, and used bags must be sealed and carried out. From in front of the hut, Daisen's north wall and Sanko-ho rise directly ahead, making it the main resting point on the summer trail. It is about 1h55m and 2.3km above Bakuroza parking at Daisenji via the Natsuyama trailhead and Gyojadani-wakare, and the summit at Misen is a further 1h20m and 1.2km. Climbers are asked to contribute a voluntary entry fee of 500 yen per climb, or 3,000 yen a year, toward maintaining the mountain's shelters, toilets and trails.
