Mountain hut at 2,400m on the Hayakawa ridge, which runs from Asayomine toward the Hoo Sanzan in the northern Southern Alps, standing just south of Hayakawa-one-no-atama. It is the only hut on the ridge — a small, quiet place sleeping 20. Walkers use it as a staging point on the traverse from Kitazawa Pass over Sensui Pass, Kurisawayama and Asayomine, or when coming up to the ridge from Hirogawara via Hirogawara Pass or Happo Pass. Stays require a reservation. A designated campsite for 15 tents adjoins it and needs no booking. Part of the hut stays open outside the season, with no keeper present.
