Hiroshima
Closed in 2023
Snow Resort Nekoyama was a ski area on the north face of Mt. Neko in the Hiba range, in Saijo, Shobara, Hiroshima, facing the Dogoyama Kogen ski area across the valley. Four pair chairlifts served five courses, including the 39-degree Desire course, the mogul Camel course and the easy Sphinx course for families. It had snowmaking and a distinctive pyramid-shaped centre house, and local skiers kept coming back. Operations were suspended in 2023, and its operator, BTM, went bankrupt in June 2025 after poor snow and rising fuel costs.
