Kotobiki Forest Park trail map
Kotobiki Forest Park sits on Mount Kotobiki in Iinan, Shimane, about an hour and a half by car from Hiroshima, and is a convenient mountain hill for skiers across the Chugoku region. Three pair chairlifts serve seven runs, and snowmaking on the Cherry and Pine courses keeps them skiable throughout the season. Terrain runs from a wide beginner slope and a winding forest trail to the 25-degree Hickory run. A Family Park with a moving walkway and sled slope, plus an inflatable Kids Park, make it easy for families, and nearby hot springs offer a soak on the way home.
