Mominoki Forest Park Ski Area Closed
Official name もみのき森林公園スキー場
Hiroshima
Mominoki Forest Park Ski Area was a gentle slope inside the prefectural Mominoki Forest Park in Yoshiwa, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima. At about 960 m with a 90 m drop and a 240-degree view, it was served by a rope lift and suited beginners and families. The rope lift no longer runs, and the slope is used as a grass field outside winter. In winter the park now offers a snow-play area for sledging and building snow huts, and its cycling road is used as a cross-country ski course.
