Ishikari Heigen Ski Area trail map
Ishikari Heigen is a small local hill in Tobetsu, a short drive north of Sapporo's Kita and Higashi wards. Two lifts serve three slopes: a pair chair climbs the 620 m First Slope, the longest and widest, with moguls and a small jump, while a single chair leads to a gentle beginner slope and a steeper advanced pitch. Tickets are sold by the hour, and there is night skiing on weekends and during the winter holidays. An SAJ-certified ski school runs lessons from preschoolers up, and the hill is a regular venue for local school ski classes and families.
