Hiroshima

Open 1968–2009

Geihoku Miwa was a small local ski hill in the Miwa district of former Geihoku town, now Kitahiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture, beside Prefectural Road 40. Opened in 1968, it had two single chairlifts serving five short runs with about 50 m of vertical, and offered night skiing on some evenings. Visitors peaked at over 10,000 around 1989, but thin snow and competition from bigger nearby resorts wore it down. Its last season had only 12 operating days, and it closed in 2009. The lifts have since been removed.
