Funamidai is a tiny town ski hill on the edge of central Toyoura, on the Uchiura Bay coast of Hokkaido. A gentle slope with one rope tow, it has been promoted by the town as a quiet place for families with small children and for unhurried practice. It previously opened from early January on weekends and holidays. In the 2025-26 winter the town kept the rope tow switched off and opened the ungroomed slope only for sledging and snow play.
