A 1,588 m subsidiary peak on the Tawa Ridge in the deepest part of the Okutama range within Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park, Okutama Town, western Tokyo. The Tawa Ridge running from the Nippara Caves toward the Nagasawa-Hairyō ridge is a variation route rather than a maintained trail, but its quiet walking is appreciated by experienced hikers, and the peak is included in the Hundred Tokyo Mountains list. The name derives from the Utō stream that flows near the summit.
