Sarugahana is a 1,279 m peak in Tenei Village, Fukushima Prefecture, in the area of Mount Futamata (Futamatayama, 1,544 m)—a Quaternary volcano of twin peaks (Otake and Metake) straddling the Tenei/Shimogō border and counted among the Utsukushima 100 and the 300 Famous Mountains of Japan. It lies on the lower approach climbed from Futamata Onsen, a route known for its beech forests and the 520-year-old sawara cypress at Onabe Shrine.
