Otsukayama (Otsuka-zuka) is an 886 m hill in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, traditionally regarded as the birthplace of the Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine, a component asset of the Mount Fuji World Heritage Site. By tradition, the legendary prince Yamato Takeru gazed at Mount Fuji from this hill during his eastern campaign and enshrined the Sengen deity, marking the shrine's origin; Yamato Takeru is still venerated here.
