Hiraoyama is a roughly 1,290-metre mountain in Yamanakako Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, on the ridge along the north shore of Lake Yamanaka that links Mount Ishiwari and Mount Ōhira. Its summit has benches and is known as a fine vantage point over Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka, forming part of the popular traverse from Ishiwari to Ōhira. It appears in guides such as "Mountain Walks Around the Fuji Five Lakes" and "350 Mountains Around Tokyo."
