Mount Takazasu is a 1,304 m peak in Oshino Village, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture, marking the southeastern end of the Misaka Range that lines the north side of the Oshino Basin. The popular ascent climbs from Toriiji Pass through larch woodland and an expanse of golden miscanthus to a summit that faces directly across at Mount Fuji, while the ridgeline traverse to neighbouring Mount Shakushi is well known as a paraglider take-off site. The mountain is included in the One Hundred Yamanashi Hiking Courses and the 60 Mountains with Views of Fuji, among other regional lists.
