Tonnomuneyama is a 1,207.8 m peak in Doshi Village, Minamitsuru District of Yamanashi, jutting north from the main ridge of the Tanzawa Mountains as a near-independent summit. Its forested top frames a striking view of Mount Fuji, earning it a place on Yamanashi's 100 Selected Hiking Courses as a Fuji-view route. The Edo-period Kai Kokushi records the name as Tonoure-yama, thought to be the origin of the present spelling. From Michi-no-Eki Dōshi, the round trip is about 6.9 km and 3.5 hours, with a steep, rope-assisted climb on the upper section, and the peak is also one of the Yamanashi 100.
