Mae-Omuro is a minor 1,420 m peak on the ridge linking Mt. Kanyudo and Mt. Omuro in West Tanzawa, on the border of Kanagawa and Doshi (Yamanashi). About 15 minutes from Mt. Kanyudo, it continues via the Hafuguchi gap to Mt. Omuro. Known for quiet ridge walking with views of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps, it lies within the Tanzawa-Ōyama Quasi-National Park and appears in the Quiet Ridge Walks guide.
