Unstaffed emergency shelter at about 805m in the western Tanzawa area of Tanzawa-Oyama Quasi-National Park, in Nakagawa, Yamakita Town, Kanagawa. It sits in a valley about 1.5km south-southeast of Azegamaru and is among the lowest-lying of the Tanzawa shelters the prefecture manages. One of eight shelters and rest huts managed by the Kanagawa Prefectural Natural Environment Conservation Center, whose list writes the name as Ikkenya Hinangoya with a different second character, it has no toilet. These shelters are public facilities built to escape emergencies such as sudden bad weather, and visitors are asked to refrain from planned or regular overnight use except when unavoidable. Open flames and campfires are banned inside and out, solid fuel, alcohol stoves, firewood, charcoal and candles may not be used, and only gas or liquid-fuel stoves on a table or the earthen floor with a protective board are permitted. The rules also require no smoking, no monopolising the hut, carrying out all rubbish, leaving nothing behind, no nailing, closing doors and windows on departure, and signing the logbook.
