A 1,111.23 m peak in the Kii mountains of Gojō City in southern Nara Prefecture. It stands along Kōbō-Daishi no Michi, a pilgrimage route revived by Nara Prefecture and the partner municipalities of Yoshino, Tenkawa, Gojō, Nosegawa and Kōya that follows the legendary path the young Kūkai is said to have walked from Mt Yoshino to Mt Kōya. The mountain also appears in the Bunken-Tozan Guide: Nara-ken no Yama.
