Mount Ōbayashi is a 1,333 m peak straddling Ueda City, Sakaki Town (Hanishina District) and Chikuhoku Village (Higashi-Chikuma District) in Nagano Prefecture, on the main ridge of the western Chikuma-River uplands. The peak is also known locally as Mount Hizawa on the Murō side of Ueda City. With Mount Kamuriki to the north and Mount Komami to the south, the relatively quiet summit is reached by three trails. It is selected in the Shinshu Furusato 120 and the Nagano Famous Peaks 100 lists.
