Hijiri Kogen Ski Area trail map
Hijiri Kogen Ski Area is a small village-run hill in the Hijiri-yama Kogen prefectural park in Omi, Nagano. A single pair lift serves one slope split into three runs: an advanced A course where moguls form, a groomed intermediate B course and a gentle beginner C course, with snowboarding allowed everywhere. There is a free sledding lane, and on the third Sunday of each month children of junior-high age and under ride free, so it suits families. It is about 10 minutes from the Omi exit of the Nagano Expressway, and in summer the lift runs for a sled ride.
