A 765 m peak on the eastern edge of Nagaoka City in Niigata, the highest summit within Nagaoka. The serrated ridgeline that runs out from Hanatate Pass earns the mountain its "saw" name, and the peak is named in several local school songs as a city symbol. A standard out-and-back from the Hanatate trailhead takes about four hours, and the mountain appears in the Niigata 100 Meizan list among others.
