Mt. Jatanigamine is a 901.7 m peak in Kutsuki, Takashima City, Shiga, marking the northern end of the Hira Mountains. Known locally as Ogurasu, the mountain shows a striking profile from the Lake Biwa side. A beginner-friendly trail climbs from Green Park Omoide-no-Mori, and the summit also serves as the northern terminus of the ridge traverse from Mt. Buna. Sweeping views of Lake Biwa from the top earn it places on the Kansai 100, Kinki 100, and Omi 100 lists.
