Mt. Iradaniyama (about 1,149 m) rises in the western Hiba Mountains along the border of Shobara City (Hiroshima) and Okuizumo Town (Shimane). On the traverse from the 'Hiroshima Prefectural Citizens' Forest' linking Mts. Ushibiki and Kenashi, it is cloaked in beech forest. Within Hiba-Dogo-Taishaku Quasi-National Park, it appears in the 'Hiroshima 100 Mountains' and the Mountains of Hiroshima Prefecture guide.
