A 256-meter satoyama at the northern edge of the Iwama Kamigō district in Kasama City (Ibaraki), at the southern fringe of the Yamizo Range. The southern slope carries the ruins of Tatekishi Castle — traditionally remembered as the Uesugi position in the Nandai-san engagement of the Nanboku-chō era, although the surviving kuruwa, water-blocking embankments and dry-stone defences are now dated to the late Sengoku period (designated a Kasama municipal cultural property in March 2024). Volunteer-maintained ridge trails form a circuit linking Tatekishi-yama's southern slope with the Hanazono, Ōkubo and Nishi-ji districts. Listed in the Kasama 10 Mountains.
