Mount Minoyama

Mount Minoyama is an isolated 586 m peak rising near the centre of the Chichibu Basin, straddling Chichibu City and Minano Town in Saitama Prefecture. Its summit is developed as Minoyama Park (a prefectural park), famed for some 8,000 cherry trees as well as azaleas and hydrangeas, and one of Japan's Top 100 Night Views. Easily accessed on foot from Chichibu Railway's Oyahana, Minano and Wadō-Kuroya stations, it appears in numerous regional guidebooks including the Kantō 100 Mountains and Okumusashi-Chichibu Best Hike.
