Mount Kurami (Kuramiyama, 1,256 m) lies on the boundary between Tsuru City and Fujiyoshida City in Yamanashi, on the northern Misaka ridge south of the Katsura River. Both the summit and an observation point just beyond it offer striking views of Mount Fuji over Fujiyoshida, and the peak is one of the 'Twenty-one Splendid Peaks of Tsuru' selected by the city as well as a Yamanashi Hiking Course 100 destination. The Sensenin trailhead, a short walk from Higashi-Katsura Station on the Fujikyu Line, makes it readily accessible.
