Mount Akaboshi

Mount Akaboshi rises to about 1,620 metres on the border of Mima City and Tsurugi Town in Tokushima Prefecture, forming part of the Tsurugi (Kenzan) range of the Shikoku Mountains. Lying roughly 3.5 km east of Mount Tsurugi, it is known for its gently rounded form and the wide views from its open summit. The peak lies within Tsurugisan Quasi-National Park and is featured in the prefectural climbing guide to the mountains of Tokushima.
