The Unkaiso annex of Tsurugisan Summit Hutte stands at about 1,944 m, just below the summit of Mount Tsurugi in Tokushima. From Minokoshi, hikers can take the chairlift to Nishijima Station and reach the hut in under an hour on foot. Operated together with the main building, it is a base for sunrise, cloud-sea views, and exceptionally dark night skies.
