Kamuinupuri is a 750.1 m mountain in Noboribetsu, its name derived from the Ainu "kamuy-nupuri" (mountain of the gods). Standing north of Washibetsudake (Muroran-dake), its main route is the Horobetsu Dam course. The trail and the sixth-station hut "Kamui Hütte" are maintained by the Noboribetsu Alpine Club, and it is enjoyed from the season opening on the second Sunday of May to the closing at the end of October.
