Takenodai is a mountain in Hadano, Kanagawa Prefecture, set between Mount Ōyama and the Omote-One ridge of the Tanzawa massif (899 m by the official figure). About 45 minutes up the trail from Yabitsu Pass, the summit carries a lookout with views of Ōyama and the Tanzawa skyline as well as Mount Fuji and the Omote-One ridge. Beyond the summit the route drops to Bodai Pass, where there is a hang-glider launch point. The Yabitsu–Bodai section is largely unmaintained and land leeches are a summer hazard. The area lies within Tanzawa-Ōyama Quasi-National Park.
