A mountain lodge at about 570m at Tozawa-no-Deai, the confluence at the head of the Mizunashi river above Hadano — water listed among Japan's hundred famous waters — inside the Tanzawa-Oyama Quasi-National Park. From the north exit of Shibusawa Station on the Odakyu Odawara line, take the Shibu-02 bus 15 minutes to Okura, cross the Kaze-no-Tsuribashi suspension bridge and walk the Togawa forest road for about 80 minutes; by car the same forest road takes about 20 minutes from the Shin-Hadano Tanzawa Smart IC exit, and there is parking. The lodge sits on the valley floor where several routes to Tonodake begin — the Tenjin and Masajiro ridges among them — and the gorges above are a well-known destination for stream climbing. It is maintained and run by the Sakujigoya enthusiasts' association and is open to anyone, whether for a break before or after a climb, a self-catered overnight stay, a barbecue, a night in a tent or a day playing in the river. Blankets and futons, separate western-style toilets for men and women, and a water point fed from the headwaters are all provided, and the Sakujigoya festival each June and the imoni gathering each November draw a crowd.
