Yarigatake Sanso

A large mountain hut on the ridge at about 3,080m, directly below the summit of Mount Yari in the Northern Alps. The principal approach takes about nine hours from Kamikochi via Yarisawa Lodge, while the Omote-Ginza, Ura-Ginza and Yari-Hotaka traverses also converge here. Founded in 1926, it is known as the main summit base, for its 360-degree panorama and summer bakery.
