Lodge at Murodo-daira, 2,450m, at the foot of the climb to Oyama, Tateyama's principal peak. It is about 15 minutes on foot from the Murodo bus terminal on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, with an address in Murodo, Tateyama Town, Toyama Prefecture. It sleeps 100 in private Japanese-style rooms of seven or ten mats. There are view baths — men's on the first floor, women's on the second — plus a drying room, Wi-Fi and a shop selling beer, light meals and climbing gear. In 2026 guests can stay from 15 April to 23 November, with winter closure from 24 November; from 4 November, however, snow limits stays to those experienced in winter mountaineering and general sightseers cannot be accommodated. In April, May and November, climbers and skiers across the Tateyama area are required to file an entry notification and carry an avalanche beacon.
