A year-round hut on the shore of Shirakoma Pond in northern Yatsugatake. It is about a 600 m, 15-minute walk through moss-covered old-growth forest from the paid Shirakoma Pond car park on Route 299. The pond's only lodging combines traditional rooms in the original building with a newer wing featuring floor heating and baths, making it a base for northern Yatsugatake hikes and moss-forest walks.
