A red-roofed mountain hut beside Route 299 at the 2,127 m Mugikusa Pass in Northern Yatsugatake. It can be reached directly by road, by seasonal bus from Chino or Sakudaira, or in about two hours on foot from the Kita-Yatsugatake Ropeway via Gotsuji. Open year-round, it is a base for walks in the moss forest and for winter snowshoeing and skiing.
