A blue, steep-roofed hut standing in a meadow at 2,230 m below Shimagareyama in northern Yatsugatake. It is a 15- to 20-minute walk toward Amaike Pass from the Kita-Yatsugatake Ropeway summit station. Its quiet, lamplit interior and wood stove make it a base for walks to Shimagareyama, Amaike, and Kitayokodake and for winter snow hikes.
