A mountain hut on the 2,530 m summit of Mount Tateshina at the northern end of the Yatsugatake range. The climb takes about two hours from the seventh-station trailhead via Shogundaira, about two hours ten minutes from Ogawara Pass, or about three hours from the bus-accessible Tateshinayama trailhead. It is distinguished by panoramic summit views, sunsets and sunrises, and an unusual collection of piano and audio equipment.
