Kita-Yokodake Hut

2,385 m · Sakuho, Nagano · 0.3 km from the summit of Mount Kita Yoko
A year-round hut at about 2,400 m just below the south summit of Kitayokodake in northern Yatsugatake. It is roughly an hour on foot from the Kita-Yatsugatake Ropeway summit station via Tsuboniwa, about 10 minutes from the summit, and one minute from Nanatsuike ponds. It serves hikers traversing Yatsugatake or exploring its alpine ponds and sunrise, sunset, and night skies.
