A mountain hut on the shore of Shirakoma Pond at about 2,100 m in the Northern Yatsugatake range. It is a 10–15 minute walk on a boardwalk through old-growth moss forest from the paid Shirakoma Pond parking area; seasonal buses run from Sakudaira to the pond entrance and from Chino to Mugikusa Pass. The hut offers private and shared rooms as well as a designated tent site beside the moss forest and lake.
