A mountain hut on the watershed between Mount Washiba and Mount Mitsumatarenge, deep in the Northern Alps. It is about 10 hours from Shin-Hotaka Onsen or 12 hours from Oritate and is also linked to Yumata by the demanding Ito Shindo route. The hut is a hub for the Kurobe headwaters and Kumonodaira, noted for its dining-room view of the Yari-Hotaka range and siphon coffee.
