雲ノ平山荘

A mountain hut on the Kumonodaira plateau at roughly 2,600 metres in the innermost Northern Alps. Every approach is long, including the route from Oritate via Tarodaira and Yakushizawa huts. It is the lodging base for the 'garden in the sky,' where ponds and volcanic rocks dot a high plateau enclosed by the peaks of the Kurobe headwaters.
