Unmanned hut at about 2,550m along the Yabusawa-shindo on the northern side of Senjogatake in the Southern Alps. Administered by Ina City as an emergency shelter, it lies about 50 minutes from Otaki-no-kashira, the fifth station on the Kosenjogatake trail, heading toward Umanose Hutte. Set in quiet forest, it is what walkers heading for Senjogatake from Kitazawa Pass fall back on in bad weather, and no reservation is needed. It is open from early July to early October; outside that period the route itself is closed. A keeper stays irregularly during the season. There is no toilet, so a portable one must be carried; open fires inside are prohibited and all rubbish must be taken home.
