This loop climbs Mount Yamato Katsuragi from the Katsuragi Ropeway entrance via the North Ridge and returns by the Kujira Falls Trail. The North Ridge overlooks Gose and the Yamato Three Mountains, while the summit area includes the Katsuragi Plateau azalea garden. The descent passes Kujira Falls.
